Our primary services include:

The key to having an effective overall liquidation strategy is to have more than one distribution channel for selling your excess inventory. Business conditions can vary significantly from one year to the next, therefore, your strategy should include multiple channels to deal with those fluctuating needs. If you have outlet stores, that channel should be supplemented with warehouse sales. The graph below illustrates this point:

Services Provided (Limited Engagement Event)
  • Real estate search, acquisition, rent, and utilities
  • All operating personnel for the events:
  • Management
  • Cashier and sales staff
  • Receiving and setup personnel
  • Housekeeping
  • Security as needed
  • All point of sale equipment-cash registers, scanners, and computers.
  • Other equipment - alarm systems, banquet tables, fixtures, and material handling
  • Supplies - bags, price signs, office, etc.
  • Services - phone, alarm, locksmith, housekeeping, and waste removal.
  • Overall planning and coordination to include:
  • Logistics with distribution and traffic
  • Coordination with finance & inventory control
  • Financial responsibilities for cash and inventory shortages and store damages
  • Management reporting and financial summaries for the events
  • Banking and credit card services
  • Sales tax processing
  • General liability insurance
  • Advertising – planning of an overall program for each event & use of large internal mailing list

design and Operation of Outlet Stores

In addition to conducting limited engagement events, AMS can design and operate outlet stores. These services are performed in partnership with the client. The client supplies the inventory and AMS provides all other design, construction project management, and operating services.

The services could include any or all of the following:

  • Store design to include:
  • SKU planning to determine sales floor size and needed fixtures
  • Space requirements for sales floor and backroom
  • Fixtures selection and acquisition
  • Back room shelving and storage systems
  • Interior and exterior designs
  • Site search and landlords negotiations
  • Construction project management
  • Complete comprehensive ongoing operation of store
  • Additionally, services previously described for Limited Engagement Events would be provided.
